Andes Biotechnologies has been highlighted today as one of Chile´s most promising innovations. The Economy and Business section of El Mercurio, Chile´s Largest Newspaper, interviewed Andes´ Scientific Advisor, Dr. Mario Rosemblatt about the company´s background and drug development objectives. Dr. Mario Rosemblatt is the Executive Director of Fundación Ciencia para la Vida, Professor at Universidad Andrés Bello, and Assistant Professor at the University of Chile and Principal Investigator at the Millennium Institute for Fundamental and Applied Biology (MIFAB). He is an expert in molecular and cellular immunology and vaccine design. Dr. Rosemblatt was Chairman of the Department of Biology, Facultad de Ciencias, Universidad de Chile, as well as founder and former Director of the Undergraduate Program in Molecular Biotechnology Engineering at Universidad de Chile.
